One of the leading African print manufacturers, Vlisco, and the astonishing fashion designer, Adjoa Yeboah, on Tuesday unveiled a new vibrant season collection, a new reward scheme and an app for loyal customers in the Vlisco store at Accra Mall.

The collaboration follows similar partnerships with Stylista, PoquaPoqu, Melanie Crane and Royal Dennis.

The collection, dubbed ‘Adjoa Yeboah for Vlisco Capsule Collection’, is a good expression of the latest season ‘3 Collection’ which emphasizes on ‘the art and intelligence of colour blocking’.

Customers can choose from 10 exclusive styles featuring Adjoa Yeboah’s signature and works.

“Adjoa Yeboah is one of our designers that can show Vlisco designs in sophistication and style. We are always happy to work with stylists such as Adjoa Yeboa, whose creativity in designing is enchanting, surprising and fashion forward,” Stephen Badu, Marketing Director for Vlisco Ghana, stated.

He mentioned that the styles would surely add some distinctiveness to the wardrobe of any connoisseur of style. “I call this collection ‘Classic Afrocentric’ by Adjoa Yeboah,” he added.

Mavis Adjoa Yeboah Adjei, Creative Director and CEO, Adjoa Yeboah Clothing, interacting with NEWS-ONE, disclosed her desire to show Adjoa Yeboah in a new light by centering her collection around a major concept, which is translated into different contemporary pan-African styles.

“The collection is created for the bold, beautiful and confident woman. To ignite a true renaissance of the African beauty in a contemporary fashion, to ‘wax-out’ that woman from the crowd,” she said.

Touching on the new app – the style configurator – Mr Badu said the special app would enable customers to select a fabric and put it on a design for them to see how it would look on them before purchasing.

He added that the app is a way of allowing the customers to know how the fabric they are selecting would look on at the end of the day before they purchase it.

“The app is to help customer make decision on the colour of the particular design they want to buy,” Mr Badu mentioned.

He added that the consumer loyalty scheme is to streamline the ad hoc reward given consumers who have been loyal to the brand.

“If you buy cloth to the tune 300, you qualify for a star once you get 20 stars you qualify for a prize, including six yards of any Java of your choice as a reward,” he added.
