Top Nigerian and Ghanaian music icons thrilled over five thousand music fans at a musical concert dubbed ‘Glo Mega Show’ held at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre at La in Accra last Saturday, August 25 .
There were performances from Sarkodie, Davido, Flavour, Yemi Alade, Teckno, Kwame Eugene and Patapaa.
The much-anticipated show kicked off on a promising note, and all the artistes billed for the show thrilled music fans to their satisfaction. They turned the auditorium into a dance hall session, with everyone dancing and singing along to the tunes.
Davido, one of the headline artistes, was consistent and superb on the day.
He kept music fans dancing and singing along his hit songs from start to finish.
Rapper Sarkordie also charmed fans with his creative rapping skills, stagecraft and style of performance apart from exhibiting his usual dancing skills. Delivering hit after hit, Sarkodie took the show to another level when he performed most of his hit songs like ‘You Go Kill Me’, ‘Gboza’, ‘Pain Killer’, among others.
It was quite a spectacle as Yemi Alade, Flavour, Kwame Eugene and Patapaa also treated the excited music fans with their various hit songs on stage. They really gave a good account of themselves on stage.
Their stage performances also attracted the needed attention, as a number of fans waved their hands to signal their involvement and satisfaction.
The concert is an initiative by Globacom, which is part of a long running promotion that comprises a series of musical concerts spanning from August to October this year.
The promotion seeks to reward Glo subscribers with exciting entertainment packages from music to comedy show with the best of African award-winning performing artistes.
The next Glo mega musical concert, which is slated for September 22, will feature Stonebwoy, Wizkid and selected Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes.
