Ing. Albert Ogyiri
President of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA), Albert Ogyiri, has confirmed that all is set for the Ghana Consulting Engineers Week celebration slated for December 6 to December 8 at the Engineers Centre, Roman Ridge, Accra.
The celebration is under the theme: ‘the role of consulting engineers and the development agenda of Ghana’.
It is expected to attract over 200 participants, including government officials, local administrative authorities and directors of member consulting engineering firms in the country.
GCEA is made up of legally constituted indigenous Ghanaian firms and individuals practising consulting engineering in Ghana.
It is committed to the development of the capacity of consulting engineering firms to effectively harness the human resources for the development and sustenance of Ghana’s infrastructure.
The GCEA is also a member association of FIDIC and GAMA.
The guest speaker for the programme is the Minister for Railway Development, Joe Ghartey, and in attendance will be the President of Ghana Institution of Engineers, Ing. Mrs Carlien Bou-Chedid, GAMA president, Major of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mohammed Adjei Sowah and sister bodies in the built environment.
Activities include technical sessions, workshops, annual general meeting and exhibition.
