Samini and Sarkodie are set to perform at this year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) slated for April 14 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The event will also witness performance from Nigeria’s Afro-pop artiste Tiwa Savage, who will be giving Ghanaians the best of Afro-pop music.
Fancy Gadam has also been billed to perform at the awards ceremony.
This year’s edition of the VGMA will also witness performances from other artistes such as Kwasi Arthur, Joe Mettle and King Promise.
Talented South African rapper Nasty C, Akosua Agyapong and Praye will also perform at the event.
This year’s edition of the awards ceremony, which is designed to inspire Ghanaian artistes and music industry players to aspire towards making strong influences globally with their music and artistry, is on the theme ‘Our Music Beyond Borders’ .
Sarkodie grabbed the highest number of nominations at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards. He got nine nominations, including the ultimate artiste of the year. Joe Mettle followed closely with seven nominations.
Stonebwoy, Ebony, Kidi and Shatta Wale got six nominations each.
